Wiliam travels again

We have this amusing tradition that any Wiliam staff traveling should not only be photographed in a Wiliam T-Shirt in any of the exotic locations they visit, they should also take one of the many ‘Wiliam’ replicas we have around the office, and photograph that too.

For anyone interested, Wiliam is named after a very famous sculpture of a hippo, “William” (Note the two ‘Ls’ in the original’s name), housed in the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York.

Why we have only one ‘L’ on our name and of course, why on earth we are named after a 5,000 year-old sculpture of a hippo is an entirely different story.

Anyway, I promised our Accounts Officer, Leo, that I would dutifully post all of his Wiliam photos. He’s off to London for 2 weeks, via Abu Dhabi.
