Wiliam`s Pink Ribbon Breakfast
With breast cancer rates increasing dramatically from 5,000 a year to 12,000, Wiliam staff felt it was vital that we band together for Wiliam’s Pink Ribbon breakfast - to demonstrate our continual support and raise funds for crucial funds into breast cancer research.
We experienced an overwhelming response to our Pink Ribbon Breakfast here at Wiliam – raising over $300 in funds and helping the National Breast Cancer Foundation get one step closer to discovering a cure for breast cancer.
A fun filled, early morning shindig, the entire staffing body attended our breakfast, sporting a delightful array of pink shirts, shorts, dresses and even shoes. Continuing the pink ribbon theme, our offices were decked out with pink tablecloths, balloons’ and a special unveiling of the Wiliam logo – in pink!
Wiliam staff indulged in an assortment of pink treats including:
- Savoury cheese scones
- Savoury Indian breakfast delicacies
- Pink frosted cupcakes
- Lemon cheesecake
- Strawberries and watermelon
- Strawberry milk
- Cranberry juice
While stuffing our faces, we took the time to accessorise our pink outfits, by purchasing a variety of Pink Ribbon Merchandise, including ribbons, pink wristbands and our own ‘bling bling’ - pink ribbon diamante pins.
At Wiliam, we have understood the significance of raising not only funds but awareness into breast cancer research. This merciless epidemic currently affects 8 Australian women before the age of 85 and we will endeavor to proudly continue our support for the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
