Benefits of Live Chat
Recently eDigital’s Customer Service Benchmark did a survey of 2000 consumer on their experiences of a number of customer service channels. The results show that Live Chat had the highest satisfaction levels even though only a small number of users have used Live Chat during a purchase. 24% of users said they have used it in the past year, and 73% of those are very happy with the experience.
Email and phone were the most frequent ways to make contact, however did not have as high a success rate due to the speed of response in comparison to LiveChat.
BoldChat also ran a report to find that 31% of online shoppers from both the US and UK saying there would be more chance they would purchase after using LiveChat. 79% of people said that this was because they got their questions answered immediately and 46% said it was the most effective communication method.
