Mozilla has broken through the mold again with the release of the tablet-optimised version Firefox, for Android of course.

It’s great to see 3rd party developers adopt new device-based interactions. Mozilla has been on Android for over a year now, but previous versions have always felt unfinished and uninspiring. This new release however, sees them release two exciting enhancements.

1.       The application is now share between tablet and phone, but optimised for either.

2.       The application adopts both tablet and modern web browsing features.

As always, the app is free of the Android Market place:

Their ratings a little low, especially when compared to Opera or Dolphin, however I think this will start to rise with this version.
