Better website images with Pixlr on Umbraco

Working with images is a common challenge for content editors - often editors want to work remotely from places they may not have image editors. Recently I stumbled across a great backoffice package for Umbraco that simplifies editing your website’s images.

Pixlr is a popular and very impressive web based image editor. It allows, directly from your web browser, extremely advanced image manipulation including cropping, gradients, shapes, layers, airbrushes, brightness/colour/contrast adjustments and more.

With this great Umbraco package you can use the Pixlr to modify media on your website directly from Umbraco. Instead of downloading, modifying and reuploading images you can do any edits you need without leaving your web browser.
