Adobe Lightroom and Apple Aperture

As part of Steve Jobs Macworld 2006 Keynote presentation (click here if you have not seen it) was the launch of Apple’s new high end photo management tool Aperture. Aperture is designed to give professional photographers the ability manage their work, do post production and even do presentations to clients. The tool is aimed delivering the first all-in-one post-production tool for photographers.

To compete with this, Adobe has released a beta version of a similar application called Lightroom. Lightroom is also post-production tool for photographers and looks to me a high end version of Adobe Photo Library. The beta version is available for download for Mac only at this stage. Doing a great deal of photography myself, I cant wait to test drive the windows version when it becomes available soon.
