Umbraco Hostnames for consolidated management of Mobile and PC-based websites

These days most clients will request a full website with a reduced mobile website attached to it.

They don’t want to have to have a whole new content management system built for their mobile website but would like to leverage their existing CMS to do the same. Usually this is because the mobile website will contain all the main features of their full website but just trimmed down. Umbraco and its domain controlling allows for this quite easily.

With Umbraco and its domain setting features you can create a full featured website and a tuned mobile site from the same platform. Sure you have to set up some custom template but even that can be streamlined by using Umbracos built in CSS template features. You create a style sheet that fits both sites and then just use Umbraco to apply that style sheet to your selected templates
