Research Products
Consumers like to research products on their mobile devices The information they locate can make the final determination on which product they ultimately purchase. Your products should be easy to locate on a mobile device. Even more important, you should have product pages specifically optimised for mobile devices. Always keep in mind that the screens of mobile devices are much smaller than PCs. Users will not have patience for excessive navigation or scrolling, especially when your competitor’s site has already been formatted correctly.

Buy From the Device
Once users have located a product, they do not want to wait to purchase. Users should be able to order the product from their device in a simple and secure manner. Without this ability, your visitors will have to visit a PC to complete a purchase. What do you think the chances are that they will either never return to order or will order from a competitor?

Contact Support
If users are able to both research and purchase items from your site via their mobile device, they will also want to contact customer support in a similar fashion. Allowing users to contact you via text message offers benefits throughout the customer lifecycle. Not only can you support current customers who have issues, you can answer questions of potential customers who are in the research phase. You are certain to increase your customer base when you demonstrate how quickly you respond to customer inquiries.
