Visualising the readiness of web browsers for HTML5 and CSS3Add to My Brief

Robert Beerworth | 13/05/2010

Two separate clients asked me this week if we would be building their websites in HTML5.

Unfortunately, the answer was no – we’re a little while away from that point – though already our developers are playing with a few things here and there, in anticipation.

Certainly, the point of http://html5readiness.com/ is not only to show the support of current/soon-to-be-released browsers for HTML5, but to argue that developers can start to implement components of HTML5 today. No need to wait for the ratification of HTML5 and CSS3.

I can’t wait!
