Measuring podcasting

According to the Wall Street Journal (Audible's Podcast Tool Tallies Listeners) Audible is introducing a tool to help advertisers and marketers to meaure podcast audiences, including how many people listen to a podcast, for how long and how many times.

Until now, measurability of podcasts has been largely unavailable, and this has been an issue; few of our clients have wanted to make the jump to podcasting past the novelty and boasting rights - without metrics, how can an organisation invest in a medium?
