New changes to Facebook Like ButtonAdd to My Brief

Facebook has released changes to their very popular Facebook like button.

1. Login Not Required

A person no-longer needs to be logged into Facebook to LIKE content. If they are not logged in the icon just changes to a thumbs up but if they are logged in they will get the option to share it on Facebook.

2. Design Change

The button has changed to a more compact version.

3. Unlike
With the design change comes a small change to how a person can Unlike content they have previously Liked.

Now its a little less obvious with the person having to mouse over the button  before they get the option to Unlike.

Benefits

With these changes come the following benefits:

• More people liking content even those that don’t have a Facebook account

• Less people Unliking content

• Compact button resulting in a less cluttered design
