Apple Launches new iPod Nano

Last week Apple launched the iPod Nano which is the latest edition to the iPod family of products. The iPod Nano is available in either 2GB (500 songs) or 4GB (1,000 songs) both pencil-thin weighing only 42 grams. What makes the iPod Nano different from other iPods is the ability to store your calendar and contacts.

Jacqui Cheng and Clint Ecker from Ars Technica recently posted an article about Stress Testing the iPod Nano where they both literally see how long it takes to destroy. They then do an autopsy on the Nano exploring the insides and finding what makes the iPod nano tick.

This is an awesome product. With 14 hours of battery life it's well worth a look at if you're in the market for a new digital audio player. It's got the Lithium-Ion battery which you'll probably have to replace it within a year or year and half so.
