Recently we stumbled across a website called Fiverr – offering people the chance to post what they will do for $5.

A small selection includes:

I will deliver a polished voiceover in dulcet educated British tones for $5 – Ex BBC broadcaster.
I will invite my 3,300 loyal Facebook friends to become a fan of your Facebook page – Anonymous
I will SEO one page of your website for $5 – Anonymous
I will watch a movie and review it for you for $5 – Anonymous

Although this website appears on face value to be full of junk, there are a few gems in there. For instance, if you were in the market for a professional voice over, $5 to get an introduction with an ex- BBC broadcaster is pretty good.

I am personally not a fan of the idea of paying someone $5 to spam their untargeted friends to like my business. Though posts like that aside, it is a rather interesting way to achieve some great little project wins.
