I am always hunting for new design inspiration, web design tools and design resources generally...

These are the lastest eight to have caught my attention.

They are worth more than a look!

 

1. Panda

You can browse all of you favourite sites, like Behance, Awwwards, Dribbble, Designer News and Hacker News, all in one place. It makes it easy to keep up to date with design trends without having to having to check multiple sites. 

 

2. Nice

This search engine for visual inspiration, as they put it “an inspirational search engine with taste”. It’s also somewhere you can collect your ideas and put together classy mood boards!

 

3. Fonts in use 

This will give you examples of fonts used in print and web design. If you're looking for some web font inspirations click on FORMATS > WEB FONTS. They have around 600 web font combinations!

 

4. Typewolf 

Another good typography inspiration site.

 

5. Stylify me 

This is a great site, just put in any URL and it will give you the background colours, text colours, fonts, font sizes, etc. Basically it allows you to research sites without having to inspect each element.

 

6. Responsive design bookmarklet

Drag the "RWD Bookmarklet" onto the website tab you want to test out.

 

7. Colour thief

You know when you find an image that has the perfect colour pallet that would work great for your next design? This is the perfect tool to help you select the colours. Just drag and drop the image in and the program does the work for you.

 

8. Live share PS

The mobile feature on this is nice.
