uMobile: Managing your Umbraco website’s content from your phone

It is not just your customers who want to access your website on the go, often you may want to easily manage your website content while away from your desk. With an ever increasing smartphone adoption rate it has become an expectation that such tasks can be done on the go from a mobile device. Whilst the Umbraco administration user interface is usable on a desktop, it is not very mobile friendly.

Thankfully Umbraco has a good community and it appears someone has already come up with a pretty cool solution to the problem. "uMobile" is an Umbraco package that, once installed, allows their mobile application to manage Umbraco website content.

So far there is only an Android application available but the package page - suggests an iPhone and Blackberry app should be on the way.
