Umbraco Date Folders
There are some cool things you can do with Umbraco, and then there are some really cool things you can do. Ever wanted to automatically sort your nodes into date folders by day, month, year? With the ‘DateFolders’ package, you can! Add some key/values to your appSettings section of your web.config and let Umbraco do the rest. You have the ability to set multiple DocTypes, a specific DateFolder DocType and whether you want to create day folders or not.
Below is an example of DateFolders filtered into year > month:
