Qantas Cash launches in New Zealand

This week, Wiliam can boast yet another successful website launch. In conjunction with MasterCard, we are proud to announce that Qantas Cash has officially launched into the New Zealand marketplace.

Qantas Cash is a prepaid multi-currency facility built into the Qantas Frequent Flyer membership card, which can be loaded with nine different currencies and used at millions of MasterCard locations around the world. Members earn points for spend at home and overseas by using their cards for eligible purchases.

Over 5 million Qantas Frequent Flyer members first gained access to Qantas Cash in 2013 - to much fanfare - as part of the Australian roll-out of the new Qantas Card. The recent launch opens up the facility to New Zealand based frequent flyers, who can activate Qantas Cash in their local currency, NZD.

This has been a nine month project for Wiliam, the result being delivery of a brand new responsive front-end for the promotion of the site, alongside a new ‘card activation’ funnel for New Zealand frequent flyer members to register for the facility, coupled with an upgraded ‘My Account’ secure facility to manage transactions and card settings.

Learnings from the original iteration of the Qantas Cash website/interface have seen UX enhancements and also new features added for the product, which will in time also be reflected in the Australian marketplace, as these are tried and tested.

As the Senior Producer for this project, I'm honoured to acknowledge the fantastic Wiliam team behind this project's success; Queron, Ed, Jess, Mark, Jason, So, Matt and Paul.

Check it out!
