How to illustrate adaptive design?
Adaptive (or responsive design) is a hot topic at the moment.
One website design that scales and gracefully fits irrespective of the screen size; no need to design for desktop, laptop, tablet and phone.
As an industry, we’re still coming to grips about how best to implement adaptive design, especially for complex design.
We also have the boggle of working with clients to decide whether adaptive design is the right path to pursue, over a dedicated .mobi website; this ultimately comes down to what content and functionality is needed on the mobile website.
I often get asked to demonstrate adaptive design.
This first example is just great, especially if you are on a large monitor and can resize your browser window from large to small and back again.
