Is a one page site right for you.Add to My Brief

Often in life the simple things are the best. This can also be true in the digital world. The concept of a single page site is simple. You put everything onto one page and through creative coding you make it appealing and also focused on your main objective.

Is a single page site right for you?

Do you have a clear and specific aim for your site?

Do you have a small amount of media rich content?

If the answer is yes to these you may be able to do a single page site.

So what is this all about?

Here are some examples:

http://london.trigvi.com/ is a list of all the London train stations.

http://felixmenard.com/ is a CV for an Artist. It showcases his work and has contact details.

http://www.lightboxhd.com/ is a marketing landing page for a ipad application.

So from these examples you can get an idea of who is utilising this method of design. There is also a common theme here these pages serve a single purpose.

I may or may not have convinced you that this is the right option to take but next time you have an idea for a site see if you can fit it onto one page.
