Highrise CRM – “If you have the means, I highly recommend it” (0)Add to My Brief

Guy MacArthur | 28/05/2012

CRM, customer relationship management, systems come in many sizes.  From the lightweight systems where a subset of their features are geared towards CRM, to systems whose sole purpose is CRM.

My experience with lightweight systems is their feature set is usually lacking and the abilities they do have are not very flexible.

Very power CRM systems on the other hand can have a steep learning curve and be overwhelming in most respects.

What I love about Highrise, 37signals’ CRM product, is it manages to be a complete and feature rich CRM while being easy to use and meets most needs.

The standard suite of features exist such as client/contact entries, groups, scheduled tasks and reminders, notes and comments, tags, activity overviews, multiple users and permissions, and the list goes on and on.  It’s also got a fancy interface to boot: http://highrisehq.com/tour.

As a developer though, I give Highrise the fifth and final star for offering up a fast, powerful and robust API.  I can get my greedy developer claws on nearly everything.  Don’t believe me, have a look: http://developer.37signals.com/highrise/.

If you haven’t experienced Highrise yet, I highly recommend trying it out.  They even have a free account to wet your whistle, https://signup.37signals.com/highrise/Free/signup/new
