Australian marriage celebrant website Celebrante launches to help wedding planners

Australians who are wedding planning can now have the added resource of www.celebrante.com.au, the Australia's largest marriage celebrant website that we have completed for our client, Celebrante. With hundreds of celebrants across Australia, locating a celebrant for your special occasion can now be done with ease.

For this client, we have developed a website that allows people planning their wedding to search through a database of celebrants using criteria that helps them narrow down their search to those celebrants that truly match their needs for the wedding day. Hundreds of celebrants from around Australia have already embraced the site in the few weeks that the site has been launched and this is expected to expand rapidly.

Celebrante is the brainchild of Sydney couple Angie and David Taylor who needed a celebrant for their wedding in Sydney last year. 'We found it very difficult to find good information about wedding celebrants. Some of the wedding websites just gave us lists of names or we had to work our way through celebrant’s individual websites that we found through search engines', David explained.

Celebrante has taken the popular model for finding information the way the dating, real estate and employment websites have and applied it to celebrants, and not just wedding celebrants. They also offers celebrants for renewal of vows, naming and funeral celebrants, or even celebrants who perform Wiccan ceremonies, launch boats or will do the ceremonies while skydiving, dressed as Elvis or in full medieval regalia!

A little different from most celebrant or wedding planner sites, users can search across a whole range of parameters and not just 'State'. For a quick search, all you need do is select your type of ceremony, its location and whether you prefer a male or female celebrant. Then click on the 'search' button and there's your list of celebrant profiles for you to delve into at your leisure. Once you find one or two that you like, you just send them an email using the form provided and its then up to the celebrants to get back to you to talk about what you want to do.

For this client, we have developed a user friendly search functionality that helps people to find the right celebrant. From the client’s point of view, the website content itself along with the database could be easily managed using Wiliam content management system.

Celebrante is a great free service for those looking for a celebrant in Australia and will no doubt rapidly become the must visit website when planning your wedding.
