In keeping with the latest web trends and innovations, Wiliam first put forward the initial idea of a blog site that then evolved into a careers advice / resource platform. The principal aim here was to position Paul Lyons as the voice of the industry however deliver this message in a light hearted and informative way.

Wiliam focused on exploring new ways to dynamically share the information on the site with its users, implementing the latest RSS push technology, together with developing a platform that not only supports podcasts, but allows for their syndication with iTunes, expanding the sites reach and potential even further.
