Bearing Engineering Services required Wiliam to develop an inspection application system to facilitate the manual inspection process of Package Bearings on the factory floor.

The BES Jupiter Inspection System was the system used by Bearing Engineering Services in ensuring quality and accountability of inspections performed on its factory floor.

Wiliam modified the Jupiter Inspection Application system in order to make it more deterministic and fool proof by implementing a barcode integration modification which led to partially automated inspection of package bearings.

Wiliam also devised a reporting system that allows the Bearing administrators to track the inspection of package bearings and generate customised reports.

Specifically, Wiliam implemented a solution which allowed BES Technology to access website reports on job progress ("Track'n'Trace"), thus improving previous reporting functionality and efficieny.

Two versions of the system were specifically customised for each of Bearing’s Sydney and Perth locations and have led to an increase in efficiency of the inspection of package bearings.
