Wiliam and the Environment

Wiliam knows as well as any company that being environmentally friendly nowadays is increasingly important and that implementing business processes and strategies to protect the environment and conserve our resources is essential.

Wiliam is committed to trying to do something to make a positive difference to the health of the global environment. At Wiliam, we have chosen to be proactive about environmental preservation.

As a company, Wiliam has implemented practices to control and reduce paper usage and cut down on ‘latent’ power usage. Wilam’s leading executives care about the environment, and work to positively drive reforms to office practices – reducing waste and preventing needless energy and consumables expenditure. Screens and systems go off or shutdown overnight wherever possible and paper usage for everything from correspondence to brainstorming is minimised in the office. Small steps – but Wiliam believes that they are not insignificant, and plans to further pursue reforms.
 
Wiliam hopes that other companies will join us in caring for the environment. Perhaps if enough businesses make efforts to ‘green‘ their office practices, and talk about it, then more businesses will be encouraged to do the same, and the next generation will be able to enjoy the beauty of nature as much as this one – or perhaps even more-so. Now that is a marketable idea for the Web generation.
